OSI model, service provider, DNS server, Domain names, Client-Server Architecture, Three Tire Architecture, Middleware. -
Browser & Web server :
Introduction to Browser, Discussion on popular Web browsers, Browser as client. Introduction to web server, Discussion on popular Web servers, Open source Software, Freeware software, proxy server.

Introduction to HTML, HTML versions, meta tags, HTML 5, CSS, Tools for creating HTML files, HTML tags, Advanced HTML tags, Interpreter vs compiler, HTML code interpreted by browser, how to run html file. -
Design Static Web Pages :
Design issues, Simple web page, Pages with lists, table, images, Forms, Frames, Sections, plug-ins, Audio, Video tags. Links- forward link, back link, combining pages in to website. -
Design Dynamic Web Pages :
Design issues, Simple Web pages, Design simple dynamic web pages, Asynchronous-Synchronous pages, Scripts, Number options for writing scripts, embedding scripts, applets and servelets.
